Mould Development RTM

Mould Development
Moulds in FRP are generally soft in nature made out of Tooling grade resins. The painted Pattern forms the base for Mould Development.

Mould Development (Hand lay up)

Pattern is laminated with Fiberglass and special tooling grade Resin with defined layer built up sequence to avoid shrinkages. Moulds once laminated are backed up by steel structure to avoid warpage of any kind.

Mould Commissioning
The mould is released from pattern and cleaned using hot water, soap and chemicals and surface of mould is finished again to get a high level of gloss.

Prototype Component Moulding
Moulding of 1 set of prototype component is done in Hand Lay-up The components are released and painted using Polyurethane paint. Inserts, holes and brackets are located as per design specifications.

Prototype Supply
Pre-delivery inspection of prototypes as per concluded norms is done and components are dispatched as per the agreed packing and  transportation standards.

Prototype Trials and Feedback
Based on the feedback received in prototype trials the various specifications are fine tuned to give the optimum results for manufacturing of components
